Drivers warned of delays as 34-tonne abnormal load travels on A47
The load – which weighs 34 tonnes, and is 16 feet wide and 69 feet long – will leave Carrow Works in Bracondale, Norwich, at 9.30am.
With a Norfolk police escort, it will travel along the A1054 and A146 to reach the A47.
From here, the convoy will use the A140 and A14 to reach the Cambridgeshire border.
The local police escort will end here, but the load will continue west across the country to its final destination of Inkberrow, Worcester.
A spokeswoman for Norfolk Constabulary urged drivers to “be aware of likely delays on the roads”.
