Travel disruption expected due to parade in Belfast
Police have issued a warning that travel disruption is expected in Belfast city centre on Sunday, due to a planned parade that is taking place.
The Membership of the City of Belfast Loyal Orange Widows Fund parade is scheduled to take place at 2.30pm from the Carlisle Circus area.
It is then due to move through Clifton Street, Donegal Street, York Street and York Road before ending at Alexandra Presbyterian Church in north Belfast.
It will then return to Carlisle Circus, before finishing at 5:30pm.
The charity provides financial assistance to widows of deceased Orangemen.
A PSNI statement said: “Motorists and members of the public are advised to expect some traffic disruption due to a planned parade taking place in Belfast City Centre on Sunday 26th April.
“Police will be present in the area in order to assist with traffic management.”
