Travel consultation launched by Fareham Borough Council
Fareham Borough Council launched the Active Travel Consultation as part of its wider regeneration strategy for Fareham town centre, and is encouraging feedback from residents, businesses, and visitors to help identify obstacles to walking, cycling, or using mobility aids in and around the town centre.
Councillor Simon Martin, executive leader of Fareham Borough Council, said: “Making Fareham town centre more accessible is a key part of our Regeneration Strategy and I encourage residents, businesses, and regular visitors to complete this consultation and give us their views.
“Only by engaging with as many people as possible can we determine what local people’s needs are and identify ways in which we can make accessing the town centre easier for all.”
The six-week consultation, delivered in partnership with Ethos Consultants, will run until July 22.
