St George’s Hospital – allow extra time for car or bus travel

If you are travelling to St George’s by car or bus please allow extra time for your journey from 11 May for three weeks.

This is because temporary lights will be at the Tooting Broadway junction with Garratt Lane and Mitcham Road as part of ongoing works along the A24.

Longmead Road will also be closed at its junction with Mitcham Road and access to and from Longmead Road will also be restricted for three weeks.This may lead to delays, particularly at busy times so patients and visitors are advised to allow extra time for their journeys and consider alternative routes where possible.
