Ringwood travel agent raises more than £2k for charity with ABBA Voyage coach trip

A coach trip to London helped raise more than £2,000 for charity.

More than 50 people travelled to the capital for the ABBA Voyage concert, organised by Hays Travel Ringwood in support of The Brain Tumour Charity, raising £2,038.

Lauren Abley, a travel consultant whose husband died from a brain tumour last year, said: “I am so pleased that we have been able to raise some much-needed funds for The Brain Tumour Charity.

“Having first-hand experience of how this devastating illness can tear a family apart, anything we can do to raise awareness and money for research is very much appreciated.

“It was a fantastic day out and shows what is possible when you work together as a team.”

Passengers enjoyed ‘Take a Chance’ bingo, a raffle, and drinks and snacks onboard as part of the fundraising effort.
