Pegasus Airlines starts summer seasonal Gatwick-Istanbul flights
A new summer seasonal route between Gatwick and Istanbul has been introduced by Pegasus Airlines.
The flights supplement the Turkish low-cost carrier’s daily service from Stansted to its hub at Sabiha Gokcen International Airport.
Gatwick becomes the sixth UK airport served by the airline with fares starting at £54.99 one-way including taxes.
Passengers have the ability to connect via the airline’s primary Istanbul hub to 160 destinations in 56 countries, including 39 across Turkey such as the resorts of Antalya, Bodrum and Dalaman.
Gatwick head of aviation development Jonny Macneal said: “Pegasus’ arrival highlights the continued strong demand from carriers to operate from London Gatwick as we expand our network and enhance connectivity across Europe and beyond.”
