Job Losses Announced at Market Harborough Travel Firm

Job losses have been announced at a Market Harborough-based travel firm following disruption caused by the war in the Middle East and wider pressures on the travel industry.

G Touring, which runs the Travelsphere and Just You brands, has not confirmed how many roles are affected.

A spokesperson for G Touring said: “In order to respond to the current travel landscape, we are streamlining certain areas of our operations.

“While these transitions are difficult, they are essential steps to strengthen our resilience and ensure we are fully prepared to lead the way as global demand continues to shift.”

The business, which is one of a group of companies owned by G Adventures founder Bruce Poon Tip, is based at Harborough Enterprise Centre on the Compass Point Business Park off Northampton Road.
