Hurtigruten appoints Chris Barker as Key Account Manager

Hurtigruten has appointed former travel agent Chris Barker as Key Account Manager for the UK and Emerging Markets.

Chris joins from Designer Travel, where he was an independent travel specialist. Prior to that, he spent two years at Celebrity Cruises, holding roles as Regional Sales Manager and Field Sales Manager.

He takes up the position today (1 June), working with Hurtigruten’s travel trade partners.

Hurtigruten Sales Director for UK and Emerging Markets Matt Stuart said: “Chris brings a breadth of travel industry experience to this role.

“As we continue to strengthen our partnerships with agents and tour operators, his experience and enthusiasm will be a real asset.
