Exodus Adventure Travels resumes Jordan sales after three-month break

Exodus Adventure Travels has resumed selling its Jordan programme after being forced into a three-month pause by Foreign Office advice.

Since the advice against all but essential travel was relaxed last week, the tour operator has been selling six tours to the region.

Sales director Brendan Phelan said: “Encouragingly, we’ve already started to see new bookings come through in the past week, which is a positive sign of returning confidence, as well as customers who unfortunately had their trips cancelled coming back to rebook.”

Trips are resuming from July, with the operator noting “strong availability” for the peak autumn season.

Before the Foreign Office advice brought a halt to sales, Jordan bookings had been performing well. The operator cited growth of 18% year on year at the end of February.

“We’re optimistic momentum will build again, while playing our part in supporting the recovery of tourism in the destination,” said Phelan.
