Drivers warned of delays ahead of 40 tonne abnormal load travelling on A14 TODAY

The load was due to depart from London Road in Brandon at 9am on its way to Pevensey, in East Sussex.

The abnormal load weighs 44 tonnes, measures 4.97 metres wide, 4.87 metres high, and 21.64 metres long.

It will travel along A1065, A11, A14 and the Cambridge border.

Police will escort it from its starting point to the Cambridge border.
