Air travel sucks – now more than ever

Ladies and gentlemen, a cautionary tale. A colleague, travelling from America, is persuaded during some irrational fit of logic that she should check in her three-day bag. Something she rarely does.

On arriving at Heathrow, with British Airways, it transpires that the baggage carousel is bust. Customers are advised that their bags will be taken to a local storage warehouse and returned the following day.
