KLM cancels Dubai flights until August
KLM has extended cancellations across key Middle East routes, with services to Dubai now suspended until at least 2 August.
In a statement yesterday, the Dutch carrier announced it has also cancelled flights to Riyadh and Dammam in Saudi Arabia up to and including 12 July.
The routes have been grounded since 1 March due to the ongoing conflict in the Middle East.
In April, KLM cancelled more than 150 European flights, attributing the disruption to rising operating costs, including higher jet fuel prices linked to geopolitical tensions.
