Live: A50 crash and A500 and A52 queues
A crash has ‘partially blocked’ a section of the A50 through Stoke-on-Trent. The collision has happened on the eastbound carriageway between Meir Tunnel and the Meir Park roundabout.
The collision was reported at 7.17am today.
Traffic monitoring system Inrix states: “The A50 eastbound is partially blocked. There is slow traffic due to an accident from the Meir Tunnel interchange to the A521 Tesco Meir Park roundabout.”
It comes as queuing traffic is being reported on the A500 approaches to the junction 15 and 16 M6 roundabouts and there is ‘slow traffic’ on the A50 westbound towards Meir Tunnel and on Werrington Road on the approach to Lime Kiln Lights.
